How far is it from La Pineda to Salou? Is it walkable? Or how much for a cab?

My Girlfriend and I are staying in La Pineda this year as it was a fraction of the price of salou itself. We both enjoy our relaxing days but are also up for a lively night, Is there anyting to do at night in La Pineda, such as live bands etc...
