Should I take a cab or use Carnival's cruise transfers?

We fly to Ft. Lauderdale which is 10-15 minutes away from the port. Is it better to use a cab? (not sure about the price for the cab)..or should we just use the cruise transfers? ($30 per person going and coming back)
