Why is there no sound coming from my new bass cab?

i bought a new bass cab a few months ago and it worked perfectly. but then i dident use it for a few days and now it dosent make a sound. im positive the volume is up but i ust cant hear anything. also whenever it DOES work the sound keeps cutting out. but i know its not the cables or my bass because it works perrfectly on my practice amp so whats wrong with my cab ? :(
